FARMLAND

        In the mountain side theirs a couple Apolake and Maganda together of their three children Dumakulem

the eldest, Mayari, and Mapulon the youngest. They live in a simple house and simple life. The couple helping

together in order to support their basic needs.their earnings in farm is so little. Almost three(3) hectares of

land are family properties.In farm we cannot avoid the problem such as natural calamities, infestation, pest,

exploitation of price and the like.

        One night the unexpected tragedy comes. The wind blow so strong tegether with the thunder and

lightning and the heavy rain poured. The family farm yeild has a great damage all the plant planted destroyed.

 After that all happened, the sun rays and have a good weather but the morning of Apolake family and other

person who are affected  of the said typhoon are not good. Apolake  and Dumangan  their helper in farm

visit their farmyeild , the palay  and other planted crops was destroyed. Apolake go back home their face is

full of regrets. Maganda, wife of Apolake said to him "dont loss hope because all that happen is

 unpredictable.

      After that, the couple go to Asuan, the rich old man of the town and the person  who give financing to the

 poor farmers. Maganda asked permission to the  to Asuan to lend money to finance their  farm and start to

 beginning. The rich old man help them.

         For the  the past few years their eldest son Dumakulem was finish in tertiary education and he commit

 her dream and the two are still studying because of the hardworking and patient  of their loving parents. The

couple is so supported to their children and give them the standard of living in term of farmland operation.

      As  farmers, we need to be riskier because of unpredictable sitution happen.Lastly, give also thanks

Bathala to the blessing he gives and all changes that they give because this is the only way to pursue all the

dreams.
